WHAT IS NEURO-LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING (NLP) ?

NLP is essentially a model of communication that explains how we get ‘programmed’ by language so that we develop habitual behaviour and responses. NLP began by studying the best communicators. It has grown by adding practical tools and methods generated by modelling exceptional people. These tools are used internationally in sports, business, training, sales, law and education. However NLP is more than just a collection of techniques. It is also a way of thinking, a frame of mind based on curiosity, exploration and fun.

Yes, but what can NLP do for me ?

Did it ever occur to you that you could change your feelings by changing how you internally represent an experience ? NLP looks at how we structure our subjective experience – how we think about our values and beliefs and how we create our emotional states – and how we construct our internal world from our experience and give it meaning.

The brain uses encoding to control messages to our nervous system which then determines our neurological experiences. A practitioner of NLP can bring about change by simply changing the coding. Mild depression, trauma, grief, guilt, anxiety, phobias, beliefs, values, all emotions and human states operate according to their own individual structured codings.

NLP TEACHES YOU TO TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR MIND

Hypnotherapy and NLP both help people manage their lives in a more productive and satisfying way. Together, they work twice as powerfully in bringing about change and self-empowerment.
